Dr. Pomade
I'm contemplaing making a purchase, and I'm considering both a GT-R and a C6 Z06. Not really interested in buying new, so that takes the 2012's out of consideration. I'd like to drive this car more than on the weekends, though I'll stop short of saying I'll make it a daily driver. I can see myself getting bored with this car in a few years, so resale value counts. Also, I don't want to modify the car all that much, if at all, at least for a while. Your thoughts? Patrick
Do you plan on taking the car to a track ever? Both have cool points, but I'm leaning towards the GT-R.

macpyro2
I think the GT-R is more comfortable to sit in if your thinking about more then just weekends. I wish I had this problem to decide lol

Patterson
You've already had a Vette before correct? Move on to something else. And if you do decide to mod it, the GT-R responds well with minimal work.

Dr. Pomade
I think the GT-R is more comfortable to sit in if your thinking about more then just weekends. I wish I had this problem to decide lol Is the GT-R more comfortable? I've heard the ride leaves something to be desired in terms of ride comfort (e.g., it feels every little bump). I thought the ride quality of my C5 Z06 was wonderful - I could daily drive that without any problem at all. I can't speak to the ride quality of the C6 Z06 though. Maybe someone who has driven both a C5 and C6 Z06 can chime in here.
Dr. Pomade
gtr is out by virtue of the whole transmission debacle. Wait, I thought they actually did address the transmission issue in the more recent models (or am I thinking of just the 2012/or I am I just making that up in my head)? However, I loved my Z06, so it makes me want another one.
