Moto-Brian
I hate how they just had to mention in the article that the 2 bikes HAD to be street racing and the woman they hit....they just had to say this --Said the bikes came out of nowhere. Ever think that the woman took a left and pulled out in front of them because she wasn't looking for bikes or paying attention enough. I've had MANY people pull out in front of me before and it was they're fault because they didn't see me. But they instantly blame the bikers and not the car.http://www.nbc4i.com/cmh/news/local/article/deadly_motorcycle_accident_on_henderson_road/13943/I can't STAND the media! Not to be a dick, but that crash was because a bike was running triple digits. The impact was so severe and the fact the bike's wheel was lodged in the car, it was a VERY high speed crash. If two bikes involved, probably not "racing" per say, but they were screwing around...It's a shame and I feel bad, but that girl probably DID look and when something as small as a bike is covering ground that fast, she probably had no idea until it was too late.Easy to blame car drivers as they are ignorant. But, she could have been responsible and saw nothing or saw lights well in the distance and thought she had enough room/time...Don't be too quick to judge... Moto-Brian
This is very sad news. Honestly, God or not, him speeding or the driver not looking. We all see people pull out in front of us occasionally and it pisses us off but I'm sure quite a few of us are guilty of going too fast as well, god knows most of these bikes can go from 0 to double the speed limit in about a blink of the eye. What happened here won't be figured out in this thread. The fact is, it doesn't matter and it's very sad that he's gone whether it was driver negligence or rider stupidity or a bad case of motorcycle narcolepsy..... honestly who knows. I think someone said it earlier, stop arguing and just tell your loved one's that you love them because this could happen to any of us. There is no reason to perpetuate the negativity of this situation. If we are looking for some good to come out of this then spread the word.... drivers watch out for motorcycles and riders don't ride like idiots on the street.... don't drink and drive or ride etc etc. End of story.I don't know if I ever met Kenny but I was at the dyno day last year for a bit. My sympathies go out to his friends and family. This is a very sad way to goWonderfully stated. RIP.
