25cc, straight shaft, older model but ran fine last year and started up easily this year. Brand new gas cap just installed. Selling because I needed something bigger for my property, but great for your average residential setup.

$50

Will also throw in a nearly brand new (used once) Craftsman fixed line trimmer head for $15.

pics? I need a gas powered weed eater, but I have more yard than you so I don't know if it will work for my needs or not.

This one will not meet your needs. It is great for trimming around the house, around trees/bushes in the yard, but not meant for the big stuff. It is lighter than those meant for that too.

It looks like I will have one that will meet your needs available in a week or so. It is almost brand new, but will cost a bit more.

out of curiosity, why don't you think this will meet my needs? I still just weed eat around the house and cut down weed stalks around a few places my tractor can't get.... what does a bigger weed eater give me over a smaller unit?

Power to get through the thick stuff. If your tractor won't get to it, you need some power. This unit is good for small residential stuff. Light weight, easy to carry, but not the power needed to get through anything thick nicely.

my push mower seemed to get through the thick stuff pretty nicely yesterday... I was mowing down stocks probably 2 inches thick.... I couldn't believe a 140 dollar push mower was out performing my 1200 dollar tractor.

Joe, do you still have the same number? I'll be getting ahold of you if so.
