Yeah Pits in general have a better temperament but Poodles aren't near as strong as them. I have an 80lb Saint Bernard mix that has a wonderful temperament but if she got a hold of me or anyone she could bring them down pretty easy.

 

Rotty's and Pit's both have a horrible image due to the media, however, they are probably the two of the most common "strong" breeds out there. On top of all that useless people are the ones that usually end up owning them. :/
