I got a 00 A6 2.7T Quattro 6speed. it has 171XXX miles and i have all the maitanence records for it as well as the original window sticker and reciept. that being said i really dont know a ton about these cars and the main things im wondering are what to watch out for, what i should look into upgrading and just general info about these cars. CRed05 Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 Cool! Maintenance records are important. Have the turbos ever been replaced? K03's have a track history of going bad, but that's because of improper maintenance or getting beat on. If it's at 171XXX miles on stock k03's, it's been taken care of. Diverter valves - They get worn out Control arms - the ball joints get worn out. Electrical sensors will probably go out here and there. They aren't expensive or hard to switch out. - O2 - EGT - Wheel speed sensors - Clutch pedal sensor - Coolant temp sensor - stuff like that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
