copperhead
Has anyone heard of dealerships starting this up yet? The girl needs a car and the used market SUCKS. For what an 8 year old mid size car is going for, she may as well get a brand new compact.
Green Bastard
Should be goin on nowish if not mostly over, new model year usually releases august or september. 99FLHRCI
I believe it is mostly over. Kia was offering $5000 over blue book on 2011's. They have almost nothing 2011 in stock though.

Flybye
0% apr's in the car business are a joke....and a majority of the ads you see are as well. If it sounds to good to be true than I assure you that it is. So with that being said...we are not doing any clearance, but I do have some great incentives on new Kia's at the moment. A new car is definitely your best bet considering used car prices are higher than they ever have been in the auto industry.
copperhead
Joel, she's been driving me nuts. I've been trying to talk her into getting something super cheap for now so she can get her credit cards paid off but she thinks she needs something perfect. The longer it takes for us to find something, the more she thinks she needs to spend. I'm going to make one last push for her to either keep driving one of mine until she gets her cards paid off, or get a ~$1500 car that can last a couple years, so again she can get her cards paid off. The unfortunate thing is we have no good solution right now, so I'm trying to see what all of the options are.

Buckeye1647545503
Sit her down and pull out a few thousand in cash in 100's and a lighter and tell her to burn it. Then tell her it's the same as buying a new car. 5g's is the max you need to spend to get reliable transportation (not showy or sporty just get there) and I think 2500 will do the trick most of the time. I'm pretty sure the Hyundai Accent just had an FMC. This guy has the idea! Find a NEW 2011 car that now looks dramatically different from his 2012 brother. They are the ugly ducklings of the lot and nobody wants to buy a new "old" car except the thrifty buyer. Usually deal with you because it's been sitting there a while.. Flybye
True story...Hyundai and Kia don't produce as many cars as the other brands. So coming across any 2011 models is pretty difficult if you are being picky about options and color.

I just happened to see a commercial with the new Accent in it and it was the only one I knew off off of the top of my head. I'm sure there are other vehicles that had a FMC this year.
