TTQ B4U
Funny, How did I strip the exif stuff off? All I did was upload it to MobileMe. Maybe you did before you sent it to me? thief, crook, photo-chopper....I know your type. you're an evil mac-man. :fa: FWIW, I like the winter wheels better too. Looks good. I don't drive the MS3 much anymore and hardly at all in winter, but I will likely put them on in hte next couple weeks. I want to clean them up real good first. I'm only doing it in case the wife or I have to drive it in the snow and really, on drier days, I will take her for a spin. It's always nice to feel the difference in weight too. Perhaps its in my head, but the OZs are 17lbs vs the stock wheels at 24lbs and I swear I can feel it.

Mojoe
I ate some dinner, then switched them out. The quickset TPMS tool rocks, one more change and it paid for itself. Link to this tool you speak of please. Ever place I looked lists no price, or direct link to buy. Any help?

SpaceGhost
Link to this tool you speak of please. Ever place I looked lists no price, or direct link to buy. Any help? They raised the price $25, $149.99 (hard to see on the screen), mine was 125.99 in March. it looks cheesy but seriously plug it in and hit the summer button or the winter button, TPMS light goes away. It always comes back on when you switch tires. So it doesn't "disable" the light as a lot of people ask me. It loads the TPMS IDs to the ECU. http://www.revolutionsupply.com/quickset.aspx

Getting new wheels and tires put on in the next week or so, so the car will be ready to go when I get home to visit in the cold months. Opted for no TPMS. But I like the idea of something like what you listed.
SpaceGhost
You have to hook it up to a windows machine initially (I use my VMware fusion XP VM on my Macbook Air) and put the IDs in the software and sync it with the tool, then all you have to do is plug in the device without a PC and press either button. The software saves 2 sets of tires for 4 cars.
harmonda
I'm running Blizzaks and they are waaaay too soft for regular dry pavement use. Too early in my opinion. Although I think I like my winter rims better. Fits the lines of the car better.... Mojoe
Thanks Ben, I'll look into it. Dan, not a big Mercades fan, I respect them from and enginering aspect. Dislike the typical status poeple diving them. Thats said, I really like the way that SUV looks for a daily driver. Not over done on looks, but classy. Well played Sir. Aaron
I put mine on at at Thanksgiving last year and thought it was too early. Hasn't consistently gone below 40 degress yet. PRD2BDF
Looks like a bent rim to me just right of the valve stem... Oh yeah, it's just the very very outside of the lip from where I dropped it. I don't think it will affect balancing. I always liked copper and it was cheaper than repainting the car. lol

That's good then, I like the BBS wheels a lot. The black wheels don't look bad though, especially for winter wheels
