I just seen the new license plates in this Dipatch article. They are supposed to be coming sometime next year. I am diggin them. Its about time we got a decent looking plate.

Thats cool, I love how the article states that most Ohioans still have the older red, white, and blue plates. I sure hate the current plates, so I've avoided getting them.

Hopefully Kasich can find some more important things to worry about in addition to this trivial stuff.

I'm still not impressed, though I'll admit it's leaps and bounds beyond what we currently have. It's still boring and I'm kind of disappointed this is what CAD came up with.

Texas has some sweet plates:

I commented on that exact plate a few days ago in the Pics/Vids section. That plate is badass. Someone also said in response to my comment that the plates in Texas are ultra-expensive. Would not care, especially if the plates looked like this one.

Those are pretty sweet. Any idea what color letters and numbers they use?

I think the new plates, as well as the current plates, look hideous.

And considering the condition of Ohio's roads, this old plate from 1996-2001 would be better suited to us:

I refer to it as the mud-splattered-along-the-bottom plate. :fuuuu:

It's remarkable that Ohio had a cooler, more European plate in 1921 than we can manage today. I wouldn't mind having this on my car:

They even made a great design out of the letters for OHIO.

The good old days. What were you driving back then? :gabe:

There are literally hundreds of choices and combos...

Almost every one of those is better than our current plates.
