KennyFKINPowerz
I just seen the new license plates in this Dipatch article. They are supposed to be coming sometime next year. I am diggin them. Its about time we got a decent looking plate. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2011/11/24/license-plate-gets-new-look.html

Cordell
Thats cool, I love how the article states that most Ohioans still have the older red, white, and blue plates. I sure hate the current plates, so I've avoided getting them. Hopefully Kasich can find some more important things to worry about in addition to this trivial stuff. RedRocket1647545505
I'm still not impressed, though I'll admit it's leaps and bounds beyond what we currently have. It's still boring and I'm kind of disappointed this is what CAD came up with. Texas has some sweet plates: http://www.myplates.com/Images/Plates/PLPD001

Texas has some sweet plates: http://www.myplates.com/Images/Plates/PLPD001 I commented on that exact plate a few days ago in the Pics/Vids section. That plate is badass. Someone also said in response to my comment that the plates in Texas are ultra-expensive. Would not care, especially if the plates looked like this one. mjrsplat
I personally like the plates before the red white and blue bullshit. I say we go back to that.
Doc1647545523
I think the new plates, as well as the current plates, look hideous. And considering the condition of Ohio's roads, this old plate from 1996-2001 would be better suited to us: http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/OhioPlate_DVN4446_enl1.jpg I refer to it as the mud-splattered-along-the-bottom plate. :fuuuu: It's remarkable that Ohio had a cooler, more European plate in 1921 than we can manage today. I wouldn't mind having this on my car: http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/USA_OH_GI2_1920s.jpg They even made a great design out of the letters for OHIO. BloodRed
Much better than the current ones. I haven't changed my tags since probably 2003. LOL But if I decide to go back to personalized plates, at least the tags look good.

It put carriage-lengths on the competition back then.
