CRed05
/thread. -Marc You would recommend an e39. I have 2 questions for you: 1) Did I see you driving on Polaris a few nights ago? I think last friday at like 1am? 2) Did you smoke your backup lights?

I kinda like the idea but am not sold on it. FI > appearance. -Marc
2011SVT
Appreciate all the input guys. I think I'm down to deciding between the BMW 335xi with the M Sport pkg and 'Performance Edition' (320HP/332TQ) and the Audi S4 with the Sport Differential now that I've driven both. Likes about the Audi: Bigger insideIs more nimble (according to magazine tests)Much better seatsHeadlights make it look like daytime outsideFit and finish and quality of materials inside miles above the BMWEveryone (except Jones) doesn't have one.Is faster (according to magazine tests) Likes about the BMW: Feels more nimbleSteering feelSound under powerFeels faster I could do either one of these with no regrets. I think the Audi is more of a luxury sports sedan and the BMW more of a sports luxury sedan in terms of the way they were designed/drive. The wife liked the Audi and wasn't too hot on the BMW. For her it was all about the cushiness. Edited December 4, 2011 by 2011SVT

2011SVT
Are these new or used? New. We'll see how negotiations go today on both and hopefully can pull the trigger by the end of the week. If not, BMW has the F30 series coming out in February/March. 2011SVT
Done. 2012 Audi S4 3.0 TFSI® Premium Plus with seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic® transmission and quattro® 333 hp/325 tq Monsoon Gray Metallic Eight-way power S sport seats with integrated headrests with four-way power lumbar adjustment Silk Nappa leather upholstery Black Interior Sports differential Audi MMI Navigation plus Carbon fiber decorative inlays Bang & Olufsen® Sound System Silk Nappa leather upholstery Audi advanced key Since it's an Eaton S/C too, I'm just swapping the Whipple 2.9 over from the Shelby for the winter (and then I'll swap it back in the spring). That plus race fuel, cams, meth injection, and a 250 shot should get me in the 800 awhp range. Perfect. :gabe: Thanks again for all the good discussion. Might have to invest in some winter meats! Came with the 18s unfortunately although that does give me room to either just buy the Audi 19" rims (which I think are tre sexy) and shoe them however I see fit for summer or buy whatever other set of rims I want. The wife says, "No mods. I know your tricks". Luckily she does not read CR. She is out driving it around. Maybe the Audi is just the thing to turn her to the dark side of the force..... If it came w/ 18" all seasons, that's really a bonus so you can go find some nice summer wheels. I know some 18" packages still came w/ summer only rubber, so I'd double check. AudiOn19s
some people are putting 9.5 w/ 275's Your b5 jelly of 4x 255's stock bro ? You can run that much wheel / tire with a proper drop? Depressing almost, I rub the sidewalls off 235 tires in the rear depending on the make of tire on my car, that's on an 8.5" wheel. Asuming you are talking about the b5, you do have ginormous 19" wheels on a pretty small car.
kirks5oh
Congrats. Just finished swapping my buddy's winter tires back onto his s5. Hard to imagine he's driven the car for two winters here with zero issues
