The only thing to save it was probably the fact that the carnage was pretty gross, but I don't need any more gore than a WWII era war film to enjoy a good battle scene. Instead of using cgi or blanks to fire bullets, they have strobe lights on the tip of their rifles and I swear the same bug died like three times.. It's that bad.
