This is Holmes. He is an 8-9 year old male German Shepard. He is energetic and in very good health. A friend of my girlfriend recently abandoned him with us. We do not have the time to care for another dog. He is well behaved, house broken, obedient, good with other animals, and playful.

Yes, he is an older dog, but he is NOT near the end of his life. Anyone looking to take him should be willing to play with him daily, and should not have small children as he is easily excited and may knock them over. He will NOT attack them.

The previous owner is.... (being nice) a slacker and Holmes is not up to date on his shots. But as mentioned, he is in excellent health.

Free to good home, I'll even include a large bag of food, a water bowl, food bowl, and a few chew toys.

This really is a great dog. I've told Jason if he's to the point where he can't keep Holmes, I would foster him until we can find a new home. He deserves a way better owner than he used to have.

How anyone can just bail on a dog like that person did is beyond me.

I'm hooked on these kind of dogs but it is hard enough to take care of one. Good luck finding it a home. Anyone looking for a first dog would be perfect for this one.
