Rich, what color do you need it?

 

Krylon has plastic primer, and other plastic paints that you can rattle can on there...don't know what the part is for though and if it actually needs to be perfect though.

There is some stuff called "Plasti Dip" that guys use to coat their wheels. That might do the trick.

Plasti-Dip your wheels? Does that really hold up?

 

My head asplode.

 

It's been done, but looks like shit when rocks start hitting it if there aren't enough coats

 

There have been numerous reports of Plasti-Dip actually melting on the track because it can't stand the heat.

Just mix part A with part B then brush on the desired component, wait an hour or so for it to cure and it forms a rather tough plastic "shell". Used it before and can attest that while a bit pricy it is sexy stuff.
