M0nk3y
Anyone have experience with these? I just purchased 2 more lens and some filters and I need a bag (or I thought backpack) that I can walk around with if I'm in a city or keep in the car at a meet to swap lens, filters...etc. I have a 18-55mm, 55-200mm and a 35mm prime lens...probably will be purchasing another prime lens sooner or later. Just wondering what brands and models I should look out for, thanks.
jerrodh
http://www.amazon.com/Crumpler-8-Million-Dollar-Home/dp/B004C4YQHI Nice review. http://www.photoinduced.com/2682/real-world-review-crumpler-8-million-dollar-home/ My brother and his business partner both use these. Not sure how much you where looking to spend and its not a backpack but a very good bag nonetheless and will protect your gear from the elements and anything you 'run into'. Murse
I don't use a backpack but I use this for daily Domke F-2 http://www.tiffen.com/displayproduct.html?tablename=domke&itemnum=700-02D and for shoots I use this Domke F-1x http://www.tiffen.com/displayproduct.html?tablename=domke&itemnum=700-10D I love them both and got them at Midwest Photo. Swing up there and take a look around they have quite a few options. I personally love the look and feel of the Domke quality stuff!

TTQ B4U
Paging Tim for 3 paragraphs about camera bags. :lolguy: <---------- Insert your penis here on Josh and I'll get a picture for the two of you I only use a backpack on occasion. I recently gave my Canon One to my brother in law. I liked it, but prefer something a little more non-descriptive. This is like the one I have now. BloodRed
I have a Kata brand camera backpack and love it. Tons of room for the camera, lens, and supplies. Mine even holds my laptop and tripod.
mrs.cos
Let me state this first, i LOVE backpacks, i have many many of them for different uses, I hate them for my camera equipment. I have this.. It fits my acer netbook, camera and 3-4 small/medium lens and a flahs, PLUS lots of little stuff, (markers, memory cards, business cards, and other crap) I love that i dont have to open the flap to get to my camera or other stuff, they sell a large and small version of it. Great bag.. Tenba Mini Messenger (There is a larger version that has an insert you can pull in and out) http://www.cameraworld.co.uk/images/products/large/messMINI_all2.jpg http://www.shutterbug.com/images/newsart/110110tenba.jpg http://www.bagexposure.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/tenbaminimessenger.png I ALSO have this backpack. I have had it for a while, It was a decent bag when i was lugging around my 17" laptop. Now it sits behind my couch waiting for the right buyer. http://www.tamrac.com/3385-opnCmp-2K_m.jpg http://www.tamrac.com/3385-MdlSdPk_1sm_Crp_lrg.jpg http://www.tamrac.com/3385-clsRt-K_lrg.jpg

Berto
I really like my flipside 300 from the stand point of theft/pick pocketing protection. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96300&highlight=flipside

Tractor
Best value (size and money) in backpacks has always been the Canon brand backpacks. They are huge and half the price of other brands smaller bags. Same goes for their standard should carry bags.

spankis
I'm still very amateur, but I love the LowePro Slingshot bags as linked above. I started with the small size 102, and now that I have 3 lenses and other accessories I use the large one, the 302. As shown on the website, it's handy the way you can swing it around to your front, and use it almost like a hanging workbench lol. http://www.lowepro.com/assets/images/slingshot_inuse_200h.jpg It also comes with an integrated, hidden rain cover that works well and encompasses the whole bag. I gave my parents the small one when I upgraded, and it has held up very very well.
