Mallard
Going to be fully revealed at the Detroit Auto Show this week. Thoughts? I think it actually looks pretty good. Hopefully it's fun-to-drive and the 2.4L Multi-Air should pack a decent punch (200+HP). It should spawn an SRT version. comes with three engines and three transmissions. The engines are a "Tigershark" 16-valve 2.0-liter engine, a 16-valve 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine (similar to what's found in the Fiat 500), and the "Tigershark" 2.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder. The three transmissions will include two automatics and one six-speed manual.

Mr. Jones
I think it looks great. Lets hope it actually is great. Yeah, the styling is great, but I don't see it competing too well in the hot hatch segment without some cool turbo powerplant. :fuuuu:

chasebobcat
http://www.autoblog.com/2012/01/07/this-is-the-2013-dodge-dart-w-video/ Chrysler has already promised a range of powertrains for the Dart, including three different engines and a trio of transmissions (including an optional nine-speed automatic!). Power will come from the automaker's range of new Tigershark small-displacement engines, including a 2.0-liter, 16-valve four, a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo and a 2.4-liter MultiAir. A 9-speed automatic? In the compact segment?

Wasn't even going fast enough to cause body lean. I really hope for the best though. Right now, there are very few entry level cars that generate any kind of excitement. If car makers want to build loyal buyers, then give them cars that they want to drive, not appliances.

wnaplay1647545503
The name is not going to drive anyone to buy that for nostalgic reasons. All they will accomplish is destroying any legacy the dart had.

Buck531
So when you pull up to one at a light and you see the Challenger tail lights and think "oh bad ass.. lets race". Then you pull up beside it and see it's a 4 bangin' Dart. Fail.
TTQ B4U
Looks like a Dodge Charger rear ended a Ford Escort. It's true that it's likely going to be an attempt to capture some rental car market share. I could never seriously own a Dodge. The need to make that a truck line only IMO.
