Chuy's (http://www.chuys.com/) has some of the best Tex-Mex food around if you are looking for some local Texas cuisine. I highly recommend it!

 

Austin Chuy's is good. If you get a chance to hit up Austin, get down on Torchy's or Taco Deli's breakfast tacos. You'll thank me later.

If you are in Sarasota, make sure you hit up The Daiquiri Deck on Siesta Key, Munchies 4:20, St Armand's Circle, Mote Aquarium (if you are into that thing) and MOST IMPORTANTLY New Pass Bait Shop! They have THE BEST burger I HAVE EVER eaten!!!
