255s would be ambitious. I'd expect 225s would become standard, with some brave souls maybe trying something as large as 245. But that's based on nothing but the pictures I've seen. In any case, 225s would be plenty for most people while still staying within a reasonable budget.

I've been making do with 150hp in 2280lbs and it's plenty fast. In fact, I dare say that my car is more fun with 125whp than when it had 230whp.

I'm going with 225s to keep weight down. So far I'm looking at 17.6lb rims and either 21lb Continental ExtremeContact DWs or 23lb Hankook R-S2s. The stock tires are 21lbs, and the rims are probably around 17lbs. My biggest dilemma is to stick with the lightweight tires and deal with a softer turn-in or go with the heavier Z1*specs (25lbs) and get sharper response.

First World problems.. :lolguy:

The only thing I really don't like about the FR-S is the way the back end of the car looks.

And that is all you will see through turns!

I am excited about this. I am for the "eyeballs out the ear" turns in a car. Road course track days rule, 20 min of driving fun.

I don't understand drag racing, lasts less time then a good orgasm. That is my opinion and many of you enjoy it, that is fine.

My little MR2 turbo had 177whp, weighs 2900lbs with me, gas, and it is a blast to drive around! She now has 200whp and is a total blast on the street, turns, and cruising.

I've got you beat, lol. My MR2-Spyder was 2126 lbs with me and gas and made 193rwhp. And yes, it was a blast to drive.

BRZ/FRS Proper Excuse Chart:

When You Lose in straight line: I'm slower in a straight line, but I'm fast through corners.

When You Lose At A Road Course: If I had more power, I would have kept up.

Failsafe: I don't care, this car is fun to drive.

Definitely getting one or just on the list to try and get one?

Sold Order in the system. Should be the first ordered one to show up. Subaru might ship floor models first, but hopefully they'll fill orders first.

The only problem is that two other orders went in after mine and they were also black. :(

Works for me.

Going to have to meet your TT-RS at a couple AutoXes this year. Once in the STI and once in the BRZ.

F-

I expected more from you.

:yuno:

Meh... CR doesn't get me worked up enough to try and insult someone anymore. So, I resort to old funnies that never die... Your mom jokes never get old in my book.

PS- I like where Draco is going.... FR-S vs TT-RS on autocross? Let's put money in on which car is faster.

You'll win, I'm an inexperienced newb. <--- Honest Excuse. :masturboy:

Which step on the Proper Excuse Chart is that? :gabe:

It should still be interesting though.. Even more so if I can get a co-drive in the TT-RS. :masturboy:
