I want to convert my headlights to HID on my 99 T/A. So far all I've shopped is eaby and this is what I have found. Could anyone tell me if these are worth buying or if I should look elsewhere? Also, I'm not sure if I want 8K or 5K or something else. I want my headlights to be super bright white but not pink to oncoming traffic.

Stick to 4300K-5000k. Anything above 5k is going to be lowering the actual visible light and honestly look like the 16yr old in a civic with pink or blue lights. I had 4300's in the past and loved them. Might I also suggest investigating what's out there in the way of projector lights too. Otherwise, the scatter from them is going to be quite glaring and likely to cause you to be flashed by oncoming drivers.

I would recommend finding a set of projector housings off ebay amazon etc and then buying a ddm 4500k kit to put in them.

Looks like you have a rare headlight. (I'm sure you know this) The only thing I could find was a write up using the projector from a TSX. Might be more expensive to do HID then it is worth depending on what you were hoping to spend.

I have HIDs in my Formula, no scatter issues. You're more than welcome to stop over and see them and how I installed the assemblies/wiring.

Alright, where do I start.

Um...here looks good:

Halogen Housing:

Don't be stupid.

Hid's in a halogen headlight do scatter. And are bright all over. But if you make sure they're aimed down its not so bad.

Of course projectors are better but unless you can get oem projectors for it, they will look "ricer". IMO

Also I run 6000k in my heads and fogs on my jeep. And they are white. No blue.

I put 6000k in my wife's 07 Honda Crv because her halogens sucked. And they were BLUE. So it all depends on the car and where you get them from.

I like ddmtuning and hidextra

I'm not trying to blind everyone on the road. I just want to be able to see better, especially in the rain. Some people say if I aim them lower they aren' t too bad. I found this:

I wonder how much this set up is?

check out the retrofit source. HIDs will look 10x better when it is done right.
