Just give me a six-speed manual transmission, HID's, alcantara seat inserts(might just add later), dual-zone automatic climate control system(Audi has me in love with it), fog lights, body-color decklid spoiler(if it has one), keyless entry and I'm set!

Not sure if trolling or srs...

The car looks good, its RWD and its as cheap as your going to get a new car these days for what it offers. I think its a good starting point with plenty of room for potential (HP). Could be fun and nimble. just my 2cents.

Saw this on Monday at Eastpointe Kroger off of E. Broad...

Have to admit, it does look a lot better in person. Except that the design is so BUSY: fake fender vents, wierd geometric shapes in the rear, that stupid exposed plastic bar in the front bumper, small design curves, coves and bumps...

Yeah, the black bar over the bumper beam is a styling choice that no one likes. Though Subaru isn't the only company to do that *cough*Audi*cough*.

At least Audi is piano black...smooth and finished.

Hyundai is the frooty company making them big and plasticky.

Please do the world a favor and spend a few bucks to prime and paint that abhorration.

WORST.STYLING.FEATURE.TODAY.

I mean, you even go through the effort to put a repeated design element right above the bumper...IN CHROME EVEN! Makes the plastic stand out even more! :fuuuu:

It still interrupts the grill with a flat black bar. Maybe if it was body-color it wouldn't be so bad. But with the surround going from the top part to the bottom uninterrupted it just doesn't look right. If you want it to look like one big grill, then don't interrupt the grillwork. Audi does have some grills without the black bar front and center, but they don't do that with all of their cars.

And, yeah, there are a lot of car companies that do this questionable styling cue. I rag on Audi because as a high dollar marque, it shouldn't be settling for cheap plastic covers.

I hated it on the BRZ until I saw it in person. I still don't like it, but it's easier to ignore in person and with a plate on it. I'll also have a black car so it won't sand out as much. I may play with photoshop and see what it might look like body color.

Or I could go CF whore on it and wrap it in the 3M CF vinyl.

Please post pics when you can of your photochop. Even CF vinyl would look better than that stupid granular plastic.

And if people don't like it now...just wait until it starts to fade in the next 5-7 years...

It's like the designers wanted us to buy the cheaper model! I hope TRD gets in on this and makes a nice front bumper replacement.

There are already tons of body kits and front bumpers in the works. Some are good. Most are ok. A couple are downright dumb looking.

MS3 anyone?

I know, but TRD likes to keep it simple and clean for the most part. Taking the TRD Cavalier front and making it fit would be nice if you ask me.

Looks like a basic fascia upgrade with a new front spoiler lip, bigger brakes, wheels, and rear spoiler as well as exhaust.

Well, seems 200hp isn't so little to keep people from racing these.

Gazoo racing is taking two rally-prepped GT-86s (alongside a LF-A) racing in the 24hrs of Nurburgring. Most of the weight reduction was re-added, I'm sure, by the FIA cage. But they are hitting the track with the stock 200hp. Can't wait to see how they do.

Got someone to take a crack at a blue one. The black one will be difficult. And I'm trying to get them to do a white one too since that seems to be a popular color around here.

Not sure if I like it...

CF wrap is an option too... But without other CF stuff on the car, I'm not sure it would look right.
