kyc12340 Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 My buddy bought a civic with H22 swap. Swap itself doesn't look clean and it seems like a mess. Car has an idle problem (up&down), I know many honda has the same problem, but I have seen different bad parts causing the same idle problem. My initial thought was IACV, I don't have enough time/knowledge to mess with it so he wants someone to take a look at it first before buying the parts. He took it to some shop in town and they told him 2000$ to fix it. :lolguy: This is his only car, so He wants to fix it ASAP, and willing to pay whatever for the job. Browning Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 what all did they list as being issues? some have success with just cleaning the IAC so it might be worth a try. My old explorer had an IAC issue and when the idle would act up I could hit it with the handle of a screwdriver an that would smooth it out.
