Moar Portraits

Did the 9 month shoot for my buddy's little girl (closest I'll ever have to a neice!) I love some of these shots but my focus just was not spot on. They are thrilled since most of these are going on 4x6's, but I'm bummed because I know I could do better. This time instead of my 35mm f1.8 I went with the 55-200 lens so I could be a bit farther back.

Nice job man. The only thing that stands out is to raise your shutter speed. Not for the sake of hand holding the camera, but for the subject that will be moving.

Great job capturing some memories for your friend.

I had my remote flash, with umbrella/stand. But the batteries died.

:(

I'll make sure I have them charged up for her 1 yr pics.

I hate when that happens. FYI. One of the best chargers and great when combined with these batteries. Our house runs on them.

Eneloops

I have both and they are good too. The reason I went with Maha is side by side fully conditioned, then charged the Maha's hold a higher charge longer. I let a set of each sit for a little over two months and the maha's were at 99% where the Eneloops were at 97%.

I know it's slim and over a longer period, they may equal out, but I kept mine all Maha's just for warranty and exchange reasons.

I will give Maha 100% credit for their customers service. They replaced several sets of my 2700Mah AA's that began to fail after a hard year of use. They offered me like for like or Imedion's at no charge.

I honestly have not heard of what you have, but its not because they arent good, just because the last time i researched rechargeables was ages ago.

i know Eneloops were the big schnizz a while back, maybe i should research again?

I have the Maha (powerex) and they are awesome. I bought mine from Midwest and got their 8 slot charger at their Thanksgiving discount last year.

The charger will even drain the batteries to zero before charging if desired.

It also has a "soft charge" option.
