XChris1632X
A lot of people here remember my old GTX's. I sold those to 99ta last year. 3 skis was just too much but one is not enough so I finally picked up a new one. Went on a ride today. I am impressed. First time on an RXT and I like the way they ride. I was looking for a rough water ski to replace the old 3 seater couches. This one take the waves even better. It shares the same bottom hull as the new GTX's. 2007 Seadoo RXT Viper Red 86 hours Seadoo X-Charger (08+ specs with metal washers) RIVA RRFPR Bosch 42lb Injectors RIVA External Intercooler RIVA Blowoff Valve RIVA AirIntake RIVA OPAS Blockoffs RIVA Rear Exhaust RIVA Sponsons RIVA Intake Grate RIVA 2 Degree Wedge Solas13/19R Impeller o2 Bung in J-Pipe Grocco Strainer Ride Plate HolesFilled Homemade Catch Can Pulls very strong mid range. My wife and I were riding double today in very choppy water and got 70.2 on the GPS. It's on the limiter, heat soaked, running rich as Hell, and didn't really stretch it out. I think it has 72 in it on perfect conditions the way it sits. I might tune it to turn the correct rpm with a prop re pitch and stick an lc-1 on to dial in the air/fuel but I'm not interested in making it any faster. In fact I might remove a couple of the steering mods. I don't like how a couple are making it react to turns. Like I said, I want this one to be more friendly and be relaxing. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment-1.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment-2.jpg
turbospec29
I saw that ski listed on greenhulk and thought about offering him a trade until I read he was done with skis due to back injurys... nice pick up!
XChris1632X
Hip injuries. He has bad arthritis and has led to other problems. He was getting rid of it so not to make anything worse. You a member of greenhulk? Have a ski, or just looking to get one.

OneRunnin72SST
Looks bad ass... I think you need the lit driver mod to get some real speed out of it though. Nae applauded Whitney for riding 70+ with you. -Erik
XChris1632X
Ha ha, no worries, next weekend we are at the lake I will add that mod. I just don't want to get hurt like last time. Stop by today if you are in town.

XChris1632X
The RXT did 72.0 on GPS at 8180 rpms. That was fully heat soaked after 45 mins of riding with a full tank of fuel and my big ass on it. I bet it the right conditions it might get to 73 with a smaller rider. I'm happy with that. To bad its only going to get slower.
Limitedslip7
Keep an eye on that Riva intercooler... they kind of suck. Mine was clogged when I got the ski causing exhaust temp alarms at WOT, then leaked water into my intake after I cleaned it out. Chocolate milk oil FTL. I've got a cheapo Ebay IC on the way that uses the same core, but in a single-pass water configuration instead of Riva's double-pass. Also, fuck Riva's plastic IC and exhaust tubes. XChris1632X
Yeah I know all about them. It is good for now. Also, it has metal pipes. I'm not a fan of the plastic either. Do you have a groco on yours? What all is done to your ski and how long have you had it?
Limitedslip7
Similar mods to yours except it has a Riva SC wheel in the 215 charger and stock injectors. I've got a Groco strainer on order. Only had it about a month.
XChris1632X
The lack of the groco strainer is really hard on the riva i/c. Many tend to hold up a lot better with the strainers due to not getting clogged. Yours is similar modded to my RXT or my RXP?
