imstock2
Ever broke something they say you shouldn't been able to? Or sent a rod through the side of the block, transmission snapped in half, clutch melted, or diff explode? .. I have a lot of breaks but post your worst wreckage and leave a quick 2 sentence story of how you broke the part and post a picture.. Here's my worse brake... twisted the rpm lvl 5 main shaft and destroyed the BER stage 1 3.90 diff after I finished my h/c on my c6 http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/75db6251.jpg http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/04f810bc.jpg

evan9381
I managed to snap a rod and throw it through the front and back of the block of a bone stock hyundai elantra. Bought it with 59k miles, happened at 63k. was at a light, turned green, started to go, nothing crazy, BOOM. Ill find pics when i get home. Green Bastard
I don't have any pics of it, but I once blew a chunk of piston out. It was the ring land on the side, and it was gone half way around the piston. Weird part was, I don't know how the pieces got out, there was no damage to the sidewalls of the cylinder, but the head was chewed up. This happened on a 1985 300zx turbo. It was my fault as at the time I didn't know enough about cars to know not to turn up the boost without supporting mods.

POS VETT
I could almost tell the failure mode and origin on that main shaft. If you have quite some investment in upgrades, it's not a bad idea to have radiography inspection performed.
gbracing81
I was looking at an old conneting rod from a grenaded 383 literally yesterday thinking I should start a carnage thread. I will post a pic of it later on.
