Here's the pumpkin I carved for our son.

Last year I did a dog paw for our boxer, the kids in the neighborhood liked that. I'm waiting until this weekend to carve the other pumpkins as my first one is already getting soft (it's 2" thick!)

Here's what we carved today. Kids are still babies so they helped where they could. Ava did do most of her's (she's 4.) I had an extra pumpkin so I wiped up a quick face and shot its eye out with a 12 gauge.

This is my pumkin from last year. I used a picture from the internet and a dremel tool to get it the way I wanted it. I can't find a good picture of it in regular light.

there are some real good ones...what are you guys using for carving tools, id assume most of you arent using typical knives from the kitchen drawer

 

I use this. Possibly the best pumpkin carving tool ever.
