I don't want to spend that much on a MSD and I'm not quite sure what I should be looking for since this is a windsor motor. It's a non roller and I am pretty sure that it's a 70-73 carb engine. That would suck if my car caught on fire. The only reason I through the procomp out there was because I don't know what the OP wants to spend. They are a low low cost option if that what he needs. I bought mine years and years ago because I needed a distributor and funds where low. I like the pertronix unit you suggested and the Mallory units also. I would not run anything MSD.
