Mr. Jones
I cannot wrap my head around 0-60 in 3.5 seconds in a car that huge... Read that a bit ago, 11.8 @ 118 and 0-60 in 3.5. Not bad for a 4600lb sedan w/ a 4.0L V8. Can't wait for APR to finish development on the ECU and see what else they can squeeze out.

Doc1647545523
$125,999 as tested, just sayin' Pretty impressive buggy, but for that type of cash, I'd want a bit more bling. I can see that it would appeal to some folks precisely because it's so plain-appearing, or as the video puts it, it has ".......surprising inconspicuous bodywork." Ergo why it has a 4.0L, not a 6.xL V8. While cruising you can enjoy 25mpg out of your 0-60 in 3.5 luxury barge.
Got-Boost?
LOVE it, just wish we could get the RS6 V10TT in the US... 4 cylinder shutoff on a $110,000 super luxury sedan? brb saving $10 to help with my $2,100/mo car payment To add onto what Jones said, it's a pretty much required these days with the EPA and government manufacture averages as a whole. You can't just have one model get 35mpg-65+, all models have to average out to a certain requirement...
Not Brian
Oh yeah? What cars in the Lamborghini lineup bring down their mean figures? Anyways I'm sure the ocean of A4's, Beetles, Passats, etc are capable of making up for the handful of one hundred-whatever thousand dollar cars they sell, right? Anyways I'm sure the ocean of A4's, Beetles, Passats, etc are capable of making up for the handful of one hundred-whatever thousand dollar cars they sell, right? They have it easier than most, given they have cars that are rated at 70mpg+ in their lineup. But it's not enough to just sit on that, in the years to come, the figures they have to meet are going to be outrageous. Look at the small time guys like Aston Martin. They were never going to meet the future goals, so they bought some of these: http://i.imgur.com/fXFZP.jpg Put some leather, badging, and hood scoops. VOILA: Aston Martin Cygnet: http://i.imgur.com/AlLC1.jpg The D4 S8 is far faster than the old 5.0L V10 S8, and does everything better including a HUGE jump in fuel economy. I really don't see any issue with the technology. Especially as, even for a million dollars, you wouldn't' be able to point out when it switches from 4->8 and vice versa. At the same time, why would I spend that kind of money for an Audi? Audi has greatly improved, but for myself it's still 3rd or 4th ranking wise for German car makers. Anyways I'm sure the ocean of A4's, Beetles, Passats, etc are capable of making up for the handful of one hundred-whatever thousand dollar cars they sell, right? It doesn't work that way. It's not based on the volume of each model, its the average of everything in there lineup. So it doesn't matter if they sell 10MILLLION A3 TDi's and 1-R8, it's the average of the total models built for x market. Also, luxury/exotic brands are in another category that's why Lamborghini also has anywhere from a $3,000-6,000 gas guzzler tax added onto the sticker price...
