Any Wing Commander fans out there?

 

Legendary game designer Chris Roberts (Wing Commander) is crowd funding a new space sim PC game. Has raised $ 3.8 million in a month, only 3 days left. On kickstarter.

I loved the WC series (the movie was an insult, however). I hope this pans out.

 

Now to find a joystick. They're as hard to find as racing wheels these days.

My favorite WC ended up being in the 3DO. haha (Had the best Need for Speed and Road Rash at the time, too.) I've never been into "flight sim-y" games but it was a good time.

 

The trailer looks pretty damn sweet.

yea i always played with the Thrustmaster Pro Flight Control System. stick throttle and rudder, the one with springs so tight you had to bolt it down. but i can't get it to work any more so i went out and bought a HOTAS warthog when i found out they were releasing Wing Commander: Darkest Dawn it's a fan made game released in february free to download. i still havn't beat it i refuse to go to a lower difficulty lol some of the missions are very very good it's not the same thing over and over.
