TTQ B4U
I tend to believe his story. LAPD is likely covering something up. I hate to see innocents killed too but the flip side of me says if those that did him wrong should feel pain. Killing them is getting even but killing their family is pure getting even vengeance. Seems that's what he's after. Now wondering when the TV Movie will be released.

BigOxley
how do we know he killed the cop's daughter and her fiance? all i have heard was that he was just a suspect. if his claims that the the LAPD is sooooo corrupt is true, maybe he was framed and therefore defending himself. <----- tin foil hat firmly in place
Scotty2Hotty
I like a tin foil top hat, keep it gentlemen like. http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx188/irrelevantsubplot/tinfoiltophat.jpg
Scotty2Hotty
He was probably 100 miles away from that mountain they were searching If he were smart he'd divert the attention is his opposite direction, or maybe he already has a fatal funnel set up. Who knows......I have a feeling he is just playing the waiting game if he really wants to carry out his "mission". My ass would divert then draw them in slowly. If what the man says is true, I forsee it becoming interesting. Given he was military, he may have a solid network out there to help him. I don't see this being a seat of the pants type maneuver he is executing.
Das Borgen
interesting development http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-0210-manhunt-20130210,0,4459703.story also, a 2nd mistaken identity case (I thought this guy's truck was already found lit up on fire????) http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-torrance-shooting-20130210,0,3955268.story also, the 2 ladies shot up in the blue Toyota Tacoma will get a new truck courtesy of LA's PD. I suspect this is the very very very minimum from this story These ladies will get some kind of legal settlement (they had better) http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2013/02/lapd-will-provide-new-truck.html

Good job making Dorner look like the hero, LAPD. EDIT - If I were these people I'd find the biggest ambulance chaser lawyer I could and go after the LAPD for attempted murder. SpaceGhost
I'd say Dorner's plan to prove misconduct and corruption in the LAPD is going very very well.

Good job making Dorner look like the hero, LAPD. EDIT - If I were these people I'd find the biggest ambulance chaser lawyer I could and go after the LAPD for attempted murder. Protect and Serve LOL I'm going to play the devil's advocate here. It looks like the 2 mistaken identity cases with the 2 ladies in the blue Tacoma and this Perdue guy in a black truck happened at 5am and 5:30am respectively. I can see how it would be hard to pick out a grey full size pickup (Dorner's) for those 2 innocent citizens way before sunrise but damn, the blue Tacoma was lit up and the article I just linked says that some witnesses of the Perdue incident heard as many as 30 shots after the cops rammed his black truck. crazy shit yo edit: this article says the Perdues have a black 2006 Honda Ridgeline http://www.dailybulletin.com/ci_22544264 http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site577/2013/0207/20130207_094930_aatruck5.JPG I'm guessing all the cops involved in these 2 incidents will soon get promoted! Mallard
Seriously, you mistake a Nissan Titan (which already burned to the ground) to a Honda Ridgeline? The LAPD is running scared and shooting up people at random.

Like I said in my devil's advocate suit and tie...both incidents happened way before sunrise at like 5 and 530 am........I can see how it can happen but that doesn't even come close to excusing the behavior of SPRAY AND PRAY, especially for a government body designed to protect and serve (in theory at least)
Mallard
Yeah, they said they started firing into the truck because they couldn't see inside after the airbags deployed. Are you fucking kidding me. Might as well start shooting at trees and bushes when you hear a rustle.
SpaceGhost
It also shows me that they can't kill him quickly when the time comes and he's gonna take a few of them with him before he finally checks out when one of the LAPD gets lucky. copperhead
No matter what, he still has the constitutional right to trial. The LAPD has already decided he's been found guilty and sentenced to death, and are doing their part in trying to execute him. The president is currently under fire for the same thing with the drone program
SpaceGhost
I'm pretty sure he will not make it to trial. He said he's ready to die. Whether that is his or the LAPD decision, I think it's a reality of the ending of this story.

10phone2
interesting possible tidbit. The department of Homeland Security can within 100 miles of a boarder: search your cell phone, computer, and pull you over without merit to request your identification to prove you are a US citizen.
