Great trucks, don't pay any attention to GM's maintenance schedule and you'll have a long lasting happy truck. What I mean is stick to the 3-4k miles for oil changes, not the stupid oil life monitor, and use quality oil since there are more sensitive parts in that engine then just bearings, like cylinder deactivation. Do not wait more then a couple years to change out the coolant. Anyone with a late model GM should follow these basic guidelines. If you don't believe me I'll be happy to explain some of my experiences working on these at the dealership.

Yes, first we put pistons in them, if they return after that we put motors in hoping you are out of warranty.

So I took the advice on here. I put a rough country 2" level kit on the front. I did the Line X bed coating with the UV protection and installed Weather Tech floor mats, which are pretty sweet. I ordered weather tech mud flaps for the truck and some floor mats for the BRZ (wife is a slob).

I also installed this swing box. I did not want a truck box in a short bed. This folds out of the way, swings out, and easy to remove off the hinges.
