I'll have to research if the amenities involved in your boat are enough to assume the tax benefit. I believe attached cooktop and head are the 2 most important. I'm not nearly ready to take that on. The open ocean scares my pants off. My uncle in law has a top of the line pontoon on pickwick lake in TN and it's great for that little lake but I haven't seen a single pontoon even at the inland coves.
