TimTaylor751647545500
Started a new job 4 miles from my house and with the Maxima really starting to show it's age, it was time for a replacement. I really want to get a Rubicon, but with us wanting to move in the next year, this was my best option and most sound financially. I've never owned a brand new car and haven't bought a car in 11 years, so I decided to do a 3 year lease on a 2013 Accord Sport 6-speed. Roush made me a good deal which was really quick. Car is super quiet, smooth and comfortable which is pretty much the exact opposite of my Maxima which I'm most likely giving to my nephew who needs a car for work. Littleguy
Nice choice, this new generation of Accords seems to have stepped up a notch or two in the looks and interior departments.
TimTaylor751647545500
Agreed. Really pleased with the interior in this car. I'll try to grab a few shots inside once the rain knocks off.
Not Brian
Looks pretty cool, actually. I would not have chosen a 4 cylinder, but that's me.

Yeah, I haven't had a 4 cylinder in years (other than wife's car) but the 2.4L puts out 189 hp and with the 6 speed, it's not too bad. Skinner
 :barf: Nothing wrong with a lease. We leased our Mazda 3 for cheap and when I traded it in made $2k on it.
Rocky31186
Looks great. Will serve it's purpose. No point in buying one to lose thousands in a couple years.
BrendanB
Didn't realize the newer Accord sedans still offered a stick, that's awesome!

SRTurbo04
Love my 12 Accord for what it is.. its no race car but sure is an amazing daily driver. comfortable, quiet, great mp, CHEAP on insurance, I have zero complaints for wht I bought it for. Only down fall is paying for the expensive oil changes vs the cheap stuff.
Mr. Jones
At least Tim got the 6MT, he's still a dude.
SRTurbo04
At least Tim got the 6MT, he's still a dude. My wife can barely drive a auto, no chance in hell she can drive a stick (shes from NJ those tards cant drive for crap) So I needed something she can drive. Plus why would I want to bag gears in a 4cy accord lol .

zeitgeist57
Congrats, Tim! The Marximar was great while it lasted. Rubicon's are better bought used anyway. Many happy miles to you in the 6MT Accord.
gaewsky1
Nice pick up. I just picked up the same thing but I went with the LX. Wanted a car that would last a long time so we can turn it over to my son. Just got tint done and it looks much better especially with the white exterior we have. adamgh81
Sad to see another Max go, my 00 left a few years ago too. The Accords are looking better and better to me, I saw one yesterday that I almost mistook for an VW/Audi with the LED running lights. TimTaylor751647545500
Again, please explain to me the issue with getting a lease.
gaewsky1
Nothing wrong with a lease. I'm paying $209 per month for a brand new vehicle. I'll get another new something in three years. I'm happy breaking even at the end, and will probably make a little if I sell it. Hassle free, happy me. It always comes down to the lease vs buy argument. Edited October 7, 2013 by CementHead
