Draco-REX
Car is looking great! It was nice to get to meet you. Hope you enjoyed getting to take delivery on the showroom floor the other night. We didn't need that dumb R8 on the floor anyways. Also if you need to change a few things with VAG-COM I have it also. Make sure to join Audizine too. Is Audizine the better US forum? Seems there are a lot of half-used Audi forums out there. I wasn't sure if the Showroom Delivery was normal or not. It was really cool. :fuckyeah: I need to make a list of VAG-COM changes I want to make.
2highpsi
Congrats on the sweet ride. I would happily DD one!

The other big one is AudiWorld, but I don't like the format of the site The showroom treatment isn't normal, but I'm doing my best to make sure to do something special for everyone when I can. Just makes work a little more fun and less like work. I would say no winking, VIM, hidden menu, and windows via remote should all make the list. Flattering that my car sat where the R8 was. I just signed up on AZ and I'm poking around it now. I'll check out those options and see what I come up with. http://www.audizine.com http://www.quattroworld.com <--Tends to be more mature/laid back audience on this one. http://www.vwvortex.com <-- Should be on here anyway for TCL I'll check out the other sites too. Mr. Jones
Go attack some round-a-bouts in Hilliard with it already.
Draco-REX
Go attack some round-a-bouts in Hilliard with it already. Got to play in a couple today. It's surprisingly nimble and composed for a 3800lb car. Once I get more comfortable with it and it's out of break-in I'll start flogging it more. The DSG isn't as bad as I initially feared. In regular Drive mode, especially with the comfort throttle, it's just like every slush-box I've cursed to hell. But with the Dynamic throttle and set to Sport or Manual mode, it responds like a manual which goes a LONG way to making this car liveable for me. Manual gearshifting is fun and I'm getting better at driving around town with the paddles. I do need to get some extensions though. Exhaust is looking more and more certain. I really like the AWE exhaust design, but it's hella-pricey if I don't want any drone. And considering the nature of the DSG, the AWE is likely the only exhaust I'll be happy with. CCW wheels are out. I don't like the profiles they use. I'm eyeballing BC Racing wheels at the moment..

Dont be too easy on the break in.
IVRINGS
Sport mode FTW! That is how I always drive them! Really does what you want when you want I feel. Not like other cars where it just revs the car higher. I know it would be hard to find, but what about some Volks? TE37s? Hmm would like nice if you can find the right fitment. Check this place out. They make some good looking wheels I think. http://www.rotiform.com
IVRINGS
Also Andy has some V8 S5 wheels with tires for around 1,000 in 19's. It is a double spoke 5 spoke that might hold you over.
Aaron
Dont be too easy on the break in. Quoted for emphasis.
Draco-REX
Quoted for emphasis. I won't flog the car during break-in, but I don't baby it either. Once everything's up to temp, I'll get on it and stretch its legs.

Draco-REX
OK, I know I said I wasn't going to do it, but I think I'll bring it out to the AutoX fun event on the 19th. Should be interesting throwing a 3800lb car around. As a side note, these are the current wheels at the top of my list: http://www.velocitymotoring.com/images/wheels/faceup/thumbnails/V713-SM.jpg in matte gunmetal.
