Need paint opinions (color choice)

My car is stripped and ready for the body shop finally, long overdue body work and paint job. I know its going to be the same scheme as far as a red body and a black hood. The car will lose the body molding and with either be solid down the car all paint or might have a yenko stripe. Im leaning towards a bright red, and most look the same. I dont want the orange look from it. Its going to the body shop next monday, excited but nervous that I have not settled on a paint code

These are some of my ideas, anyone have any? Im leaning towards the 2014 stingray red even though it has a little orange to it being torch red

My Car currently....paint flaking and all:

I'm biased but when I think bright red I think Guards Red, having owned one it's a good option. In really extreme sun sets you sometimes get a hint of orange but not in the middle of the day. Beauty of it is even in the dark it's still a great bright shade

Tornado red that was on the jetta is slightly darker but still on the brighter side of the spectrum. Problem is there's 2 different paint codes for Tornado and one is CRAZY orange. We took a 50/50 shot when we sprayed the fender on the Jetta and the first time it was WAY orange, 2nd paint code was a direct match. I can look it up again if you want.

I guess all reds will have some amount of orange for the most part I just dont want it to look more orange then red if I can help it. I plan on having the window molding on the sides painted. I bought all new front end molding and light bezels for the markers. I have not ordered bumpers yet mainly because Im contemplating the chrome and glass option.

The most intense red I've ever seen is the Torred color found on Dodge Chargers and I believe Challengers.

This pic is very close to how it looks in person (on my monitor at least, displays vary a lot in color tone).

I took this pic at a meet years ago, and it's very close to real appearance too:

^^^That one actually has an orange Charger behind it, for color reference ;).

went ahead and ordered some harwood glass bumpers and ordered the yenko stripes for the sides in matte black.

Im leaning towards the viper red and the guard red the mostr right now. I really still like that c7 red however and seems to have the most orange in it.

Just came in here to ask you what you thought about viper red. Always been a favorite of mine. But see you already have that in mind. Would look great imo

+1

Personally I like darker reds on cars, but given what you've posted I too must vote for Viper Red.
