coltboostin
When's this Dyno queen getting mopped up by Linns mullet machine? 100% In for that, ready for the Linn quick 3... and I'm going on 2. LOL is it 2005 again? Let's compare retirement accounts and net worth... It's the e-penis size of 2015! IBTL!!! My W2 is ready if you want to paycheck race. I own 4 homes, and the company I've worked for for 6 years matches 401k dollar for dollar up to 5%. My "fun" trade king account has admittedly sucked for the last 2 years, but thats my fault. How much more is your college degree worth again? IBTL!!! PS: I wish it was 2005 again!!!! Weekly street racing all over the state, no real responsibilities, and PD with the CDSM crew??? Common' back PPS: If you have any ownership in your parent's Chinese restaurant, you automatically win, because I fucking love dirty Chinese food. RC K9
Well, I just skipped over 3pgs of BS to say props on the car man. I wish I had you skill set. This thing is BA, partially due to it being budget.

This thing is BA, partially due to it being budget. Thanks boss. Its crazy to think about the amount of car-knowledge I have gained over the years of selling and developing parts during my time at http://www.shearerfabrications.com, building, and tuning FI cars. One of the things I love about this project is that its forcing me to learn new things almost every time I work on the car. Its a big part of my enjoyment for the hobby. I am in love with this build. My lack of ability to weld is one huge hurdle that holds me back from "advancing." Not that I would ever be on this level, but it is certainly inspiring. coltboostin
Final product with tip I made with some scrap pipe. Not so bad, is it. http://vid1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/VID_20150404_121747591.mp4 It snowed this AM, so I will try and button some things up and hope to wash it tomorrow when its 60. Mickey T DR's will be here Monday.
coltboostin
Added some much needed HOOK to the mix- and an alignment. It was WAYYYY off lol. No wonder it felt like it was driving towards the wall on the first test hits http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150410_131514676_HDR.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150410_184255484_HDR.jpg Went from spinning 1-4 on low boost to almost dead hooking 2nd on 8psi. FUCK this thing runs good! Shifts are unreal with this twin disc. Video to come.

Jewtoys
That has to be the first set of new tires, you've ever purchased.

coltboostin
That has to be the first set of new tires, you've ever purchased. You got me-I didn't even buy them!! I had a buddy at work who owed me money for 2 months now (actual money lost on my part, sent him a loan referral). I cut him a deal-told him buy me these and some shockproof for my rear ends and we will call it even. He got a 40% discount on the debt, and I got what i was going to buy with the money anyways. Funny part- Summit called him 3 times to make sure it was not a fraudulent purchase before shipping. I think that's impressive on their part! coltboostin
Thanks to my GTR buddy Matt who donated 2 china Purple gates to the car because, well he just had them laying around (no I am not kidding) and it completed the twins theme. Thanks Matt! http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_162019998.jpg As for the Drag radials-Love em'! Dead hooks in 2nd on Gate (8psi, Mid 500's HP) when it used to spin hard through 4th! Now goes dead-straight when in it. Needs a little tweaking but I am super happy that I can actually now USE the car lol. Next "round" of upgrades was installing a solenoid so I can have on the fly boost control. Its been my ghetto traction control method for years, and this solenoid was int he throw away bin at a local shop back in 05 LOL. Stage one is Gate, Stage 2 is whatever I set my Hallman at. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_162009109_HDR.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_161928027.jpg Works Wonderfully! With some heat in the tire, I can 90% hook 15psi in 3rd, and 17psi in 4th. On a cold tire though, its just paints the ground at 17psi-even pedaling 4th gear! Not sure how much she is making at 17psi, but fuck it felt nasty. Next up- real intakes!
coltboostin
Test hits at 15 psi on a cold tire. Make those Micky T's work! You can get a good idea of how responsive it is too-its not laggy in the least bit. http://vid1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/GOPR0489.mp4

coltboostin
Going to be able to shift her fast enough? Looks like it has some ass behind it for sure! Its honestly the best shifting car I have personally owned. In the video, the only reason the 1-2 seemed slow is that it went into 2nd so easily, I didn't realize it was it second LOL. After yanking back on the stick 3 times to confirm it was in second, I let the clutch out and felt like an ass about it afterwords. Super light twin+short throw shiftier=mind bending shifts. coltboostin
Goal achieved. My pile is now the highest WHP stock LS1 powered car, ever (according to the internet) 872whp http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150425_235628731_HDR.jpg 20psi spike, settled at 19. Running lean up top because, well I have 2 fuel pumps I pulled out of a random parts box lol. At the crank, that's likely near or over 1000hp. In 'Merica, they say that FOUR DIGITS. FOUR FUK'N DIGITS! Video to come, hope it comes out because it sounded unreal. So unreal I lifted early because I was convinced it was going to pop lol. I will likely toss one or two 340's in the tank before I make a pass at full Geechie. It made 814@17 psi with steady AFR, so that will do for now! C-Mart
Sitting here shaking my head and smiling at this accomplishment. I remember being 15/16 and seeing 'the colt' at the lot. Same JP different platform. Congrats.
STEVE-O
That's not your graph. You can't make that power with those turbos. Not stock. Not a ls1. Not the highest. It won't last. There now we got all those into one post so we don't need 6 more pages of bs shit talking; I can't wait to see the car. You going to bring it down Friday? Makes me very excited to see what the 67s can do on a mild built 6.
