I've entered the 86 in the Ohio Mile in the G/BFSS (blown fuel super street) category this year. I was in Wilmington for registration and tech inspection Friday, then back today. Unfortunately I haven't run yet due to track delays and then wind delay (24-27 mph crosswinds). I return tomorrow first thing and hope to make at least one run.

Here are some unedited photos from a point-and-shoot camera. The photos aren't so great but the cars and people are. :)

It ended up being a decent day over here in town. How was it out there on the pad?

Saturday there were sprinkles early then clearing. However, crosswinds shut down the track from around 2 p.m. to close.

Sunday was perfect. Dry, good temps, a breeze but nothing too strong to run.

What's done to the FRS?

AP/HKS Supercharger System 350-400HP System

HKS Longtube Header Kit

HKS Midpipe

Agency Catback Exhaust System

AP/Exedy BRZ/FRS Clutch Upgrade w/ Lightweight Flywheel

Ecutek BRZ FRS Tuning

Ecutek Flex Fuel System

AP/Deatsch 450HP Fuel Upgrade

AP Brembo 06 STI Brake Upgrade

Tein Lowering Kit

Cusco Front Tie Bar

Enkei Tuning Raijin Wheels/Nitto Invo Tires

Also, CCW 3-piece polished aluminum rims for show

and, most importantly, it's re-badged as a Toyota GT-86 ;)

That's kind of you to say, but I'm revealed as a poser as soon as someone asks, "What have you done to the car?" and I have to admit that all I did was write checks and had a shop guide me through the process, beginning to end. I have a lot of envy when someone tells me how he diagnosed a car problem, envisioned the solution, engineered the fix, and then built it himself.

But I sure do enjoy my cars. ;)

I'd only say you fall into the "poser" category if you tried to play it off as if you DID do all the work. No sweat Doc. Either way, impressive collection and it couldn't belong to a more deserving bloke.

^Randy has it down.

The whole "built not bought" argument is the last line of troll's defense while shit talking.
