I just got back. Fiesta ST on the Autocross course was fun.

I got to do it Friday during the dealer event. Ended up being the fastest out of everyone through the autocross course.

My best of 3 was 25.48 seconds. Track too short, traction-control too aggressive.

I suck at driving, my best was 25.5 on the 3rd lap. If I just had another lap or two!

 

However, that Fiesta did surprise me. Heading into the first hard corner riding with the pro driver I was thinking "WTF? This guy is going to understeer right through this corner" but it pulled right through!

A co-worker was telling me this morning that he and a friend went. I guess his friend got 2nd place. I believe the time for 1st was like 23.xx.

Yep, I was picking up another 4/10 every run. Took a hot-lap in the Focus ST as well. That thing was really brutal on that short course. And you're right, it seemed like it should have plowed, but you could feel the diff yank it right back in line every time. Pretty impressive piece of machinery.
