And just like that #25 in the class is 3* DT Davon Hamilton, was once a Kentucky committ.

I wonder what changed that made the staff let him go public with it.

Still hoping to finish with 2 of KJ Hill, Isaiah Prince and Terry Beckner, Jr.

Yeah it was me, 2500 tickets for the field, gone in 20 seconds, yet he found a way to be down there.

I saw people tweeting eBay auctions with the field tickets within minutes of them selling out. Probably how he got one.

I read this today and thought to myself, if this happens it just shows the power ESPN has over the whole college football world

"Next season’s semifinals at the Capital One Orange Bowl and the Goodyear Cotton Bowl are scheduled for Dec. 31 but ESPN is pushing the CFP to move those games to Jan. 2, 2016, a Saturday with relatively little competition on TV. The NFL’s regular season concludes that Sunday, Jan. 3, and the league hasn’t had a Saturday game during the final week of its regular season since 2007."

I am all for it being on a saturday, but here's what I think they should do, put the playoff and NCG on ABC. There are still a lot of people out there that do not have cable, why not give these games to them for free? ESPN is owned by Disney which also owns ABC. They would still make a killing off ratings and commercials.

IMO the semi-final games need to be on January 1st, always. The only thing I would maybe change is pushing for a slightly earlier start, or having the referees keep the pace of the game up (read: TV timeouts), to avoid a late east-coast finish. I absolutely loved the way this year was handled. I love the Rose Bowl (I'm talking festivities and all), but the powers-at-be are being pricks about scheduling. Besides, there's still a lot they could do with a New Year's Eve Rose Parade without losing the pageantry.

Apparently Davis told the staff not to bother with their in-home visit on Thursday so unless something changes... he gone. OSU will probably end up with Damon Arnette from Bosa-land (St. Thomas Aquinas) in his place.

Bama didn't lock down Isaiah Prince with their in-home tonight. Really think OSU is going to end up with him. Have to see if he makes a visit to MD this weekend.

Also, Torrance Gibson could end up elsewhere too. LSU seems to pose the biggest threat at the moment. Obviously OSU is set at QB for a couple more years at least so it wouldn't be a huge loss.

So what I see as the most likely finish...

Keep Torrance Gibson, lose Carlton Davis, land Isaiah Prince, KJ Hill and Damon Arnette.

Unlikely dream finish...

Keep all, land Prince, Hill, Beckner and Gustin.

Don't think they have room for the dream finish so it's extremely unlikely.

Urban was in Utah last night visiting with some old Utah buddies (saw a pic of them with him on twitter) but also doing in-home visits with commit Branden Bowen and target Porter Gustin. He went to Gustin's basketball game and sat with his 40+ family members at the game. Here's a pic of Urban in Gustin's home after the game...

If OSU loses Davis and Gibson, but replaces them with Beckner and Gustin I would be really really happy. I don't think LB is a real serious need, but you don't say no to one of the top ranked LB's in the country if they want to come on down.

I really think both Gibson and Davis flip to Auburn. I don't really know why I say that about Gibson, just a gut feeling. Maybe he's just playing everyone and will sign with OSU on signing day, but I just get the feeling he is going to pull a Hulk Hogan type swerve and join the NWO (Auburn) instead.

Gustin will be a DE. LB class is loaded with Hilliard, Baker and Conner. Haven't heard much on Beckner since his visit so I'm going to keep thinking he ends up at Mizzou. Lose Davis and maybe Gibson, replace with Gustin, Prince, Hill and maybe Arnette... would take that all day. People are really starting to think Gustin is trending towards OSU.

And it looks like Michigan has thrown in the towel with regards to OSU commit Mike Weber. They offered Wisconsin commit Titus Booker as a RB.

Also, it was nice to see Kentucky lose 3 kids to B1G schools in the past 48 hours. Hamilton to OSU then twins from Cleveland to Michigan State. A writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer just put out a story this morning about Kentucky's recruiting of Ohio keeping the rest of the B1G outside of OSU down... guess he had it all written up and just pressed sent regardless of the recent events. :lolguy:

It's crazy to look at Kentuckys potential class and what it ends up being. At one point in time many felt they would get Damian Harris and several other really good players. Recruiting is a crazy world, full of ups and downs, probably the main reason I follow it haha.

Carlton Davis officially decommitted from OSU as expected. Damon Arnette becomes something of a priority this weekend. Apparently OSU tried to pick up one of the Dowell twins yesterday before their flip from UK to MSU became official but OSU didn't want both so they went to MSU. I've read some stuff saying that some DB's on the roster and even in this class may not play much more in their careers which is why they seem to want more than it looks like they need. Armani Reeves has some kind of headache issue that is concerning. Jamel Dean has a really bad knee but he was one of the first commits for this class and OSU isn't going to drop him this close to signing day but he may never play here.

Also, apparently Michigan did not throw in the towel with Weber. I saw that from some Michigan people yesterday which is why I posted it then yesterday afternoon Weber and his dad met with Harbaugh at some diner. If he visits Ann Arbor this weekend then it would be time to be concerned. He talked with Coombs (in charge of Detroit area recruiting) after the Harbaugh meeting and OSU feels confident they'll hold onto him but "watch what they do not what they say."

Lots of rumblings that WR KJ Hill (current Arkansas commit) will be flipping to OSU, Bielma is going to have a heart attack if Urban flips another one of his recruits (Kyle Dodson was the other).

When it started to look like it was going to happen this past weekend I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Urban went down to Arkansas (a state that OSU has never taken a player from) to troll Bielema.

If OSU lands KJ Hill then in this class they will have taken kids from 3 states OSU has never had a player from before...

Utah - Branden Bowen, maybe Porter Gustin

South Dakota - Grant Schmidt

Arkansas - KJ Hill
