oh8sti
Update: I wanted to keep the theme of updated, but yet still be a little bit of a sleeper. So, I did the wheels and E63 front end conversion (updated front bumper) + a few other maintenance items, power mods to come in the next few weeks. I ditched the wrap idea since the paint is in such good shape and looks really good cleaned up. Wheels are CLS55 staggered 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rears finished in satin gun metal all wrapped in Nittos http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/9D1D88D8-2713-47AC-A19E-E93BDA145AAB_zpsrgnlgrtm.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/44DA541F-1283-455D-927E-06BA6F531FFD_zpsawtu5akg.jpg http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu130/oh8ti/631BE2D7-7FAD-4FD0-9BE2-EDE869A35BA8_zpstssnb0ad.jpg for those that dont wanna go back a page
zeitgeist57
Those MB wheels look perfect! I've always liked a lip, but CLS wheels are gorgeous in their solid-but-simple design.:thumbup:

AudiOn19s
That's exactly what I was going to do I got mine here: http://www.adjustableairride.com/ The rear is a little tricky to install just because it's located in a somewhat tight space. The fronts you don't even have to take the wheels off of the car if you don't want to, you can jack up the front of the car and access them pretty easily. The front of the car has a surprising amount of camber from the factory and a horrible camber curve that gives quite a bit extra camber when lowered. I didn't go too extreme with ours but the camber is still pretty aggressive. Doesn't really bother me much but you might want to invest in the factory camber bolts and have your alignment guy install them when you get it aligned after lowering. Picture of ours on the 20's after lowering for reference. http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/092.jpg see the front camber here: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/ZainoDetail/106.jpg

I'm really surprised you can go that low just with the links haha. Did you ever get any warning lights or anything?

Did you ever get any warning lights or anything? Nope..no issues and a surprising amount of ground clearance. I think it looks lower than it is with the big wheels and rubber band tires on it. It's got the stockers on it right now and doesn't appear as low even though the height hasn't changed in the last 6 years
thorne
Stas Makarov has one of these with bolt mods and it was a blast to drive.
