Stupid landscape company ran it over last year with a bobcat. Just now realizing it was broken.

This weather is absolutely fucking absurd. Worst summer I personally can remember.

agreed 1000%

my basement has flooded TWICE now.

not only that. as i have already bitched about. this shit weather has ruined all my summer activities. it rains damn near everyday. if not, it's freaking 65 degrees.

I WANT MY 85 AND SUNNY DAMMIT!

Shouldn't stuff like that be more than just a couple inches below ground?

Depends on the grade of the property. I can't recall Ben's front yard but if the side of the house is fairly flat they would need to be closer to the surface at the back of the house and slope downward from there.

Typically the pipes follow the natural contour of the ground. 12-16" is common depth and allows for about a foot of dirt over the pipe in even the shallow areas.

I was talking to my girlfriend about how if it was winter... we would be totally fucked with snow..

I'm probably going to prep for a shit show winter.

10TV said if all of this rain had been snow, we would have 100"+...

:wtf:

That's the highest point on that line too. It is very flat from there to the street. What is shitty is the cheap ass PVC MI used, I'm gonna replace it with Schedule 80. Shouldn't happen again. With all this rain I was wondering why just that area was a swamp.
