Surprised nothing was said earlier in the automotive news...
BrendanB
Not too shabby! 32k seems like a lot for a "small" pickup though.
Aaron
You haven't priced full sized ones lately, then.
Geeto67
trucks are kind of out of control at the moment. Size, price, options, it's all kind of bonkers. I really do lament the death of the small trucks like the S-10 and Ranger. the new Colorados/canyons are as big as full sizes were 10 years ago. I would say it is about time we got a small diesel truck like ya know the rest of the world has but really are we?
copperhead
Not too shabby! 32k seems like a lot for a "small" pickup though. I've seen stripped down ecodiesel Rams for mid 20's
AndonD454
Definitely hoping to hear good reviews, considering one for my next purchase. I have a full size truck now, and most of the time, the size is more annoying than it is useful.
POS VETT
Yikes! Four-cylinder diesel
2 Sweet
Too bad the new Colorados are ugly as sin. Seriously, they look like Mitsubishi designed them. Maybe I'll start to like them in time, I dunno
aussiek2000
I've seen stripped down ecodiesel Rams for mid 20's Thats cheap. A GM 1/2-ton with average options is at least 40k

Trouble Maker
I'm from Missouri so you're going to have to SHOW ME... Oh, you meant I should compare new car prices to new car prices? Sorry, I meant a used one that had previously caught on fire.

spankis
This has been known for a while, but im still excited for it. 2.8L "duramax" inline 4 cylinder if I recall. Pretty much every manufacturer offers a small diesel pickup outside the US. Also, I think I recall hearing the VW Amarok is coming :megusta: Edited July 29, 2015 by spankis
Grudes
Its supposed to be in this truck too; if they make it http://www.caranddriver.com/news/chevrolet-colorado-zr2-concept-photos-and-info-news Edited July 29, 2015 by Grudes
zeitgeist57
If you're going to have such a dinky bed, at least give it a respectable tow rating... Small trucks: the domestics fucked up the formula since the S10 and Ranger died.

Small trucks: the domestics fucked up the formula since the S10 and Ranger died. Almost 8k#s doesnt cut it? :lolguy: Like someone else said, basically an old full sized truck. I bet my dads late 90s F250 w/4.6L V8 is rated to tow much less than that. Hell, to get more tow rating than this in an F150 you have to get the V8 or 3.5 ecoboost. The base 3.5L n/a and 2.7 ecoboost are rated right around what's speculated for this truck & drivetrain +/-
