For a 12" disc sander you cant even get close to that, even for a used one. Id rather do it myself and make it the way i want/need it. Richard Cranium Posted March 8, 2016 Report Share Posted March 8, 2016 I was thinking a small cooling fan. At first I thought an exhaust fan, but that would pull dust into the box. If you had an intake fan the air would exhaust out the front around the sanding disk and move the air away from the inside of the box. I wonder if you could get away with mounting blades/fins on the sanding disk and moving air out the front with the motion you are already making. Needs varnish put on now, but other than that it's done. Like a couch with a twin mattress and a bunch of outdoor pillows. We never have anywhere to set our drinks or to put food to eat out there though, so I built this so we could eat, drink, smoke cigars, whatever out there. The compartment below is nice because it provides a place to put all the pillows when we aren't out there, and the wheels make it easy to move the table, (it is heavy). Its small enough that i doubt anything thicker would be necessary. Its too bad you cannot get 5X5 sheets here in the states.
