BStowers023
I've heard about Veterans getting free or discounted tickets for CBJ games. Does anyone have experience with how this works? I tried to look online and couldn't find anything. What proof do you need to provide? Military ID? VA Card? DD214? Do you just get 1 ticket for yourself? If I wanted to bring my girlfriend could I get my ticket for free and pay for hers and sit together?
HotCarl
Most likely you'll need some sort of ID (military, va, etc...) i would call the ticket office 1-800-840-9227 to be sure. If its anything like student rush tickets (which I usually buy) at the beginning of the season they'll be very stringent about checking then as to the season goes on they will relax their standards a bit on checking id's. Even if they don't offer the discount of have stopped (which I think they still offer it) you can subscribe to get the student rush tickets and borrow someones id if you don't have one. Not Brian
I'm on their email list and have yet to see anything for military. There may be like a 10% off promo or something, sometime, but normally they have no problem selling tickets so I guess they don't bother. adamgh81
Day of any home game you can go to the box office and get 1 free ticket with your military ID and normally a pretty good discount for any additional tickets. Friends of mine have gotten tickets right down at the glass. Pretty awesome deal.
Not Brian
That is (awesome) news to me. I did no research before posting, just assumed.
