TTQ B4U
This time by Infiniti. I'll be test driving the new QX50 once they hit the lots. Will be interesting to see how it fairs. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
coltboostin
Variable timing Variable fuel(duh) Variable nozzle turbo Variable compression. Hey at least its not complicated! Anyone know if it uses traditional shell bearings or roller bearings?
Grudes
Variable Douche nozzle, man these engines have everything
Geeesammy
Cool idea until it breaks outta warranty and the customer is stuck with a monstrosity of a bill to replace the engine lol
Ackbar00
All that for 268 HP?
zeitgeist57
I read a Jalopnik article, who said the power is not that impressive. Seems to be a lot of complicated engineering for middling performance. Man, I don't envy the OEMs, with what they're expected to do to make a product customers will buy (or in Infiniti's case, LEASE).
Smokey
It’s really cool to see them come up with new ways of doing things. What I’d like to know though is HOW MUCH more efficiency are we talking? Did they do all of that for 3-5mpg? If so then pass. If that bitch all of a sudden gets 45mpg on the highway then I’m all ears.

Smokey
JEEBUS. Seems like a lot of work for that. I guess every bit helps when they’re putting standards for manufacturers to meet over all of their products lines together so more of these engines means more availability for GTRs and fun stuff, but damn.... Green Bastard
The idea is nifty, but there are a bunch more moving parts now, which means more parts that can fail. I have a feeling it will gain a reputation much like the rotary engine.
