People with garages, TV question

Do you put LCD / LED TV's in them? Anyone have issues with temperature changes? I have an OLD CRT tv in my garage and it's been fine cold or hot, but I've been thinking about replacing it with something newer since that TV is a good 25 years old at least. Anyone have issues with extreme cold weather and the tv sitting in a garage?

this is good to hear, I've kept this old ass CRT out in the garage because I don't heat the garage all the time, I only turn the heater on when I'm out there and it depends on how much my wife is pissing me off will say how much I end up using the garage in the winter time lol.

I told my wife this past weekend I wanted to put a TV in the garage on an articulated mount, so we could watch football and hockey games outside on the back patio (our whole backyard is a patio). Thought she thought I was crazy. Last night she asked me if we'd have the new TV in the garage for the Ohio State game in two weeks so we could have people over. I had to stop myself mid-sentence at saying "Well, I'm not sure I'll have the time fo-" -- YES we'll have it in there!

This thread is timely. Gonna put our ~2010 LG 42" out the and get a 55" for inside. :D

I went ahead and purchased a 32inch TCL smart tv last night. I wanted to go bigger, but this will serve the purpose of what I want and that's to replace that old CRT tube tv that's from 1994 that I was using out there and couldn't even read the text from the cable box.

If you're looking for cheap tv's Wal-mart has spectre brand tvs for super cheap right now online.

50 inch 1080p - $199

55 inch 4k - $250 - I've had this model for about 2 years now no issues whatsoever screen is beautiful only issue the audio sucks so you'll need to get a cheap soundbar or component set-up. You can use your computer woofer/speakers on these too.

NICE. I was just looking at these, wondered how they were. I can easy mount a cheap soundbar to it. Kinda want a 55 for the garage after measuring...

Ended up getting a refurb TCL 55" with Roku for $300 from WalMart, after reading reviews. Great TV for $300. Ended up putting it in the house and put the LG 42" we got in 2010 on an articulated mount in the garage.
