Show off your garage or "man cave"

I'm surprised this thread doesn't already exist on here. We're all car guys so I bet there's a lot of cool pics we have to show. Garages, basements, whatever. My garage is small and my man cave is even smaller but I'm always looking for cool ideas

I have no man's cave and my 2-car garage is bursting at the seams with 3 cars stuffed in it, nothing to write home about.

At least you have a 2-car. Mine is a single, 10x23. Both my garage and my man cave are small, cramped, and look like a 1990's NASCAR-themed sports bar, more or less.

PS, I don't care much for the term "man cave" but can't think of anything better

Cool thread idea. I'll grab some pics of my current junk, I've made due with small spaces for 6 years, but we move on the 23rd. I'll definitely keep an eye out for good ideas/use of space.

That battle station looks awesome! What are the PC specs? That case is bigger then my student debt.

Its an old PC now by 4-5 years maby older. I built this when DDR4 was just released.

What's the Howard Stern mic setup for? You doing podcasts?

Just standard gaming and what not. I cant stand mics on headphones and with the mic on my desk it would pick up a ton of sound from the desk itself since its metal/ wood on top.

I also never posted my network rack which is hidden in another room

Rital 24u Rack enclosure

Surfboard modem

Ubiquiti Edgerouter X- SFP

Ubiquiti Edgeswitch Lite 24port

TRIPP LITE SmartPro SMART2200SLT UPS

I am actually about to replace the edgerouter with a Palo Alto PA-220 firewall here soon and I am going to re do alot of my wiring to make it neater.

Ebay a dell r320, pfsense, add multiport gbit nic, 2x sfp interface, done.

I'll take the ERX SFP when you're done with it however :)

My work will be providing it so I can have a "home lab" environment. Ill let you know though when the ERX is free.

Here's my garage when I moved in. Nothing in it.....

I didn't see the point in adding drywall/insulation to the unfinished walls, so once I got everything situated, I broke down some pallets and "dressed up" the bare wall.....

Got a couple TV's out there.....

Not much space to work with, but it's better than nothing.....

Nice! Great use of the space.

We should add an extra section to cr for people's garage/shop builds/journey. Great to see ideas from others. I have so many questions right now about my build.

Got a little more work done on the garage today. Still a lot to do, but getting there. I have two more shallow cabinets to hang that will be partially covered by the tv. I have too much junk, but it's already nice to have more space, especially with woodworking tools in the basement shop.1cf429c197f233b15a34d8b279c1b06e.jpg6abf61d48aa0a8f84863329fc6555b41.jpg

75". Didn't fit well in the new family room, and is only 1080p. Picked up a nice Sony 65 for the house, so.... New garage TV!

Cut a section out of a stainless steel elevator door I replaced at the Crowne plaza, and finished off the center of my workbench. Makes for a nice cleanable surface.

I still have a lot of organizing to do out there.

I can get these doors occasionally if anyone is interested in a decent stainless bench top.3d08c76ea31a2f1468a44b48ae0be84b.jpg

Looks good! I'd be interested in a door if you come across one.
