What is this model replacing....I got the XSi ....and although I am not a photographer....I am not impressed for what I paid for the thing.

Have no clue what it is replacing.. I am fairly impressed by it though. I thought it took some great pics today, especialoly with me being a total noob!

I said I wasnt impressed with the XSi...but thats because I need to get a like 18-300mm lens and then all would be good.

Yea, I would love to pick up a nice 20 - 300mm lense.. but dropping $700 on it sounds pretty painful, especially after just buying the camera. Sounds like the lense might have to wait to be a xmas gift to myself lol
