Danimal
There is an app for smartphones called Dartsmind that uses your phone’s camera and AI to not only do auto-scoring (this is on a bristle board, not a soft-tip dartboard) but allows for online games and matches, with shared video of each-other’s board and shared audio as well (if you wanna hear your German opponent cussing in German lol) I’ve got a nice setup and am having a blast. it would be cool to play some of my friends here. Anyone have a board and shoots? All you need is the app and a phone holder!
Danimal
I can understand the lack of replies. no one likes getting their ass handed to them lol. My stats are on the rise
Tonik
I played years ago but not anymore. Very cool that you can do it remote now.

Danimal
just buy a board (Winmau Blade 6-$100) light setup (mine is also Winmau, their Polaris light-$45) and a phone stand/holder (mine was $20 on Amazon) and darts….limitless options now. 80-90% tungsten darts from one of the premium manufacturers are around $100 a set. There are so many types of grips and barrel shapes and weights. I’m inviting you over any night of your choice. Quality beer and herb. Food. and a ton of different dart weights and styles you can try to see what you like before buying. Same can be done at a few of the Akron/Canton/Cleveland dart shops. it’s amazing how well the app works. You can set up a second device or camera to make it even more accurate, but mine works fucking unreal with just the one phone
Tpoppa
Not sure about where you live, but in the Cleveland area the are some well established dart bar leagues that are pretty competitive with cash prizes. I don't play darts, but I do play in pool leagues (that are highly competitive). A few of the bars we play pool at also have dart leagues.
