The most preserved sandwich was like Spam and Cheese or something gross.at the museum of science and industry in chicago they have a similar exhibit. the one there had some food that has been sitting out for a while, and then food that has had a bite taken out of it, thats the same age. the one that was half eaten was 1000 times nastier. apparently there are things in your saliva that encourage decay in what you eat. starts breaking it down before your stomach i guess...
