fusion
That's right the impossible happened! The ever nimble NinjaNick took a small spill on a short ride with Wrillo and I today. It was a low speed spill turning right onto another road and catching some about invisible gravel. The damage to both Nick and more importantly the bike seem minimal. The way he fell he hit face first, it's a good thing he believes in gear. Here's to finally getting the first one out of the way bro.

Had to read the txt twice to make sure I was reading right. Still cant believe it happened. Gravel sux. I am amazed that the bike was not damaged more than it is. Those scratches look pretty minimal. "Its going to take more than that to take NinjaNick down" hahaNick, that was your first crash, as long as you have been riding?

NinjaNick
In about 5 minutes I was laughing because I couldn't believe how hard I planted face first on the road. I was looking into the turn and my next thought was, why are my eyes less than an inch from the road and I hear scraping. My head bounced hard face first and that was the creepy part.Other than that the wind got knocked out of me and my ribs are sore. I'm perfectly fine and going to drink a few beers to celebrate my 1st time EVER going down on a motorcycle! This is my 6th season and it finally happened. DAMN GRAVEL! (Just my opinion, I'm not an agent and nothing I say is endorsed by the company I work for <-- that sounds funny)
NinjaNick
Pipe, mirror, side fairing, front fairing, front hugger, brake lever, bar end, and steering is messed up a bit. ZX14 not cheap for those things.
NinjaNick
My deductible is $100. I pay $31/month for full coverage.I wonder how much my rate will go up though, if any, since I've never filed a claim.

ZX14 not cheap for those things.Glad you're ok.On a low side like that - even slow speed - with a heavy ass bike like the 14 you may well have twisted up the front end.Do yourself a favor and have it measured. You'll be happy you did.If you want some more info shoot me a pm.
