It uses the full size van frame.the excursion was based on the super duty truck platform. a full size van frame and a full size pickup frame are pretty close. and they are both body on frame. the acadia has a unibody, (car platform) which makes it a crossoverbody on frame = suv unibody = crossover Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
